Web terminal (SSH)

The web terminal gives your account's command line right in the browser — no separate SSH client.
Where to open: service → “Terminal” section.
Handy things to do:
- Install dependencies (composer install, npm install, pip install).
- Run artisan commands/scripts, view files, check permissions.
- Quickly diagnose issues without connecting over SSH from your computer.
Limits: the terminal runs within your account (not root). Some system commands aren't available — that's normal for shared hosting. For full control you need a VPS.
If a command aborts with a message about a startup script/profile, that's a server-environment quirk; contact the administrator. For ongoing access from your computer it's easier to set up SSH keys (see the related article).
Be careful with delete commands — operations are irreversible.
