Status page

A status page is a public page showing whether your services work. You can show it to customers so they check the state themselves instead of writing to support.

What's on it:

  • Current service status (based on your monitors).
  • Availability and incident history.
  • Messages about incidents and planned work.

Why it's useful:

  • Transparency for customers: during an outage they see you're aware and working on it.
  • Fewer support requests during an incident.

How it works: the status page relies on your uptime monitors. Add monitors to key services (see the monitors article), and their state appears on the page. You can post incident notes to keep users informed.

Tip: during an outage, briefly describe what's happening and when to expect recovery — it reduces the support load and builds trust.
