Choosing a PHP version

Each site can use its own PHP version and tuned settings — important for engine and framework compatibility.
Where to set it: service → “PHP” section. Here you can change the PHP version for the domain and enable/disable extensions.
What to consider:
- Modern WordPress/Laravel need recent PHP (8.x). Older scripts sometimes need an earlier version.
- Some extensions and limits may depend on your plan.
- After switching, check the site opens without errors (look in the logs if something breaks).
Typical settings: memory limit, upload file size, script execution time — set in the PHP settings.
Tip: if 500 errors appear after a version change, open the “Logs” section, find the error message, or ask the built-in AI agent to suggest a fix.
