Aliases and forwarding

Aliases and forwarding help organize mail without creating extra mailboxes.
An alias is an extra address that leads to an existing mailbox. For example, sales@mysite.uz and support@mysite.uz can both arrive in one info@mysite.uz mailbox. Handy to avoid multiplying passwords and see everything in one place.
Forwarding is a copy or redirect of mail from your address to another (e.g. to a personal Gmail). Useful if you read all mail in one familiar client.
Where to set it: service → “Mail” section → settings of the mailbox/domain (aliases, forwarding).
Tips:
- Don't create endless forwarding chains between addresses.
- When forwarding to an external service, check that mail doesn't land in spam (correct SPF/DKIM in DNS help).
- For out-of-office replies use the auto-responder (separate article).
