Checking domain availability

Before buying a domain it's handy to check if it's free. In Orax this uses real registrar data (WHOIS), not guesswork.

How to check:

1. Open “Domain search”.
2. Enter the name you want (e.g. mysite or mysite.uz).
3. The system shows the status across popular zones: available, taken or unknown.

What the statuses mean:

• Available — the domain can be registered.
• Taken — the name is already registered, try another name or zone.
• Unknown — no data for that zone right now; try later.

Choosing tips:

• A short, memorable name beats a long one.
• For projects in Uzbekistan the .uz zone is popular; for international — .com.
