Changing the account password

You can change your hosting account's control-panel password at any time — e.g. if it's compromised or you're handing over access.
How to change:
- Open the service → “Settings” → “Change password”.
- Enter a new password, or leave the field empty to have the system generate a strong one automatically.
- Save. The new password is shown once — be sure to copy it.
Where this password is used:
- Logging into the hosting control panel.
- Account access via SSH/FTP (login is the account name).
Security tips:
- Use a long password with letters, digits and symbols.
- Don't send the password in open chats; for developers it's better to grant access via “Share access” or an SSH key.
- After changing it, update the password in FTP clients and scripts where it's saved.
