Automatic wallet top-up from a card

You say at what balance to step in and the most that may be taken from the card. After that the wallet tops itself up, so services are not switched off because the money ran out.

What you set

  • Threshold — the balance below which we should act. It is pre-filled with your next automatic renewal: that is what the top-up has to cover.
  • Maximum per charge — a ceiling the card will never be asked to exceed. It may be left empty.
  • A separate "charge my card automatically" tick — that is your consent. A bound card alone is not enough.

How it works

Once an hour we look at the balance. While it is above your threshold, nothing happens.

As soon as it drops below, a single charge brings it back up to the threshold — not in instalments and not on a date. There is no monthly schedule: it depends only on the balance.

One charge rather than several is a protection: a dozen small attempts in a row on one card looks like suspicious activity to a bank.

If more than your maximum is needed

We take nothing and tell you, naming both figures.

A part payment would be useless here: a renewal is paid in full or not at all, so taking some of the money would spend it for nothing. The decision is yours — top up by hand or raise the limit.

If the card has insufficient funds

One retry after about 45 minutes, in case it was a passing glitch. On a second refusal we wait 12 hours. A failure notice arrives at most once a day.

When nothing is charged, for certain

  • the balance is above the threshold
  • no card is bound
  • the "charge automatically" tick is off
  • auto top-up is switched off

How to turn it off

Any of three ways, each effective immediately:

  1. Untick "charge my card automatically" — the card stays for paying orders by hand, with no automatic charges.
  2. Delete the card under My cards — we revoke the right to charge with the bank and forget it.
  3. Switch auto top-up off entirely.

Security

We do not store your card number. At binding it is passed to the bank and forgotten — we keep a protected key and the last digits so you can recognise the card.

Your bank confirms the binding with an SMS code: without it the card cannot be bound, even if someone types the number.

About the amounts

You set the threshold and the maximum in your cabinet's currency, while the charge is made in soums. The wallet is kept in dollars, so the credit is converted at the rate current at the moment of payment.
