Provider and API key

The AI agent runs on a model from the provider you choose. You add the key yourself — it's stored encrypted and used only for your requests.

Supported providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, GigaChat.

How to connect a key:

1. Get an API key in the provider's dashboard.
2. Open AI settings (in the service's file manager).
3. Choose the provider, paste the key and save.

What matters:

• You can change or remove the key any time. When switching providers, the old key is cleared.
• The key grants access to your paid account at the provider; don't publish it and rotate it periodically.
• Token spend follows the provider's pricing (on your key) — watch your balance there.

An alternative to your own key is paying for AI via the Orax wallet (by tokens), without a key of your own. More in the AI billing-modes article.
