What the AI agent does

The built-in AI agent is an assistant right in your site's file manager. It understands plain language and reads and edits your project files on request.

What it can do:

• Find and explain a piece of code.
• Make an edit (“fix the error on the homepage”, “add a contact form”).
• Help work through an error from the logs.
• Work step by step, showing which files it changes.

How to start:

1. Open the service → file manager → AI agent panel.
2. Connect your own AI key (AI settings section) or use wallet billing — see the billing-modes article.
3. Write the task in plain words.

Security and control:

• All of the agent's file actions are logged.
• Any file edit can be undone: a backup is taken before the change.
• There are limits on answer length, number of steps and spend — to avoid an endless loop.

Tip: phrase the task specifically and back up before major edits.
